I teach english at a small elementary school in Yangju, South Korea. There's a dog farm, some rice fields, a dairy, and some grave yards nearby — not to mention various and assorted factories, militarized sites, and eateries.
I was born in Hawaii to mid-western parents who met in the Peace Corps. My father boasted about Malians making swords out of car springs. I have yet to see that sort of ingenuity in South Korea.
This picture of me was taken at Longs Moiliili, about a week before I left Hawaii.
My biggest dream is to be happy — and it happens every fucking day of my life. art
